[Financial News]Cheon Soo-hye, the CEO of Orient Shipyard Elected 6th President of Korean Business Women’s Federation
CEO Cheon Soo Hye (62. Photo) of Orient Shipyard was elected as the new president of the Korean Business Women’s Federation (hereinafter KBWF), the largest women's business association in Korea, on the 29th of this month.
KBWF announced in the general meeting at the Millennium Hilton Hotel Seoul, located at 5 Namdaemoon-ro, on this day that Cheon Soo Hye, the head of the leaders and also the president of the Busan branch, was elected as the 6th president of KBWF. Cheon, the newly-elect president, will perform her duties to support activities of women entrepreneurs and to help women starting businesses.
“KBWF will set its first priority on support for female business leaders,” adding, “I will do my best to help women's policies to be rapidly adapted and to establish a specialization system” said Cheon.
President Cheon graduated Busan Namsung Girls’ High School and Donga University, majoring in English Literature, and is currently working as the CEO of Orient Shipyard (ship construction company), Orient Heavy Industry and Orient Marine (ship gear supplier).
